\n An application, made by Beach House Developments Ltd, which hoped to knock down a home on Beach Road in Scratby and build nine more has been rejected.\n<\/p>\n

\n Great Yarmouth Borough Council has rejected the plans due to it\u00a0“conflicts with the aims of sustainable development” as the council has a vision of trying to “minimise the need to travel”.\n<\/p>\n

\n It also stated the design of the buildings\u00a0“fails to have a positive relationship” with others within the parish.\n<\/p>\n

\n 2) Claims to the estate of David Francis Perkins
\n<\/h2>\n

\n Anyone having a claim against or an interest in the estate of\u00a0David Francis Perkins of\u00a0Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind, Thomas Tawell House, 106 Magpie Road, Norwich, who died on July 19 2022, is asked to send a written notice to the address below on or before\u00a0September 11.\n<\/p>\n

\n After this date, the estate will be distributed as per the notices received.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n Costessey Lane will be closed for repairs at Costessey Mill Bridge\u00a0from July 22 to\u00a0July 25.\n<\/p>\n

\n A full road closure is required to maintain a safe working area during the project.\n<\/p>\n

\n South Norfolk Council has\u00a0approved a scheme\u00a0for four new homes to be built in Long Road in Framingham Earl.\n<\/p>\n

\n Plans for the development\u00a0involve\u00a0the demolition of a former detached cottage and garages on the site,\u00a0changing the access point for the homes and building a new driveway leading to four new detached houses with garages.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n The plans have been submitted by the Loddon-based company Grandstand Developments, which has now fenced off the site in preparation for the building work.\n<\/p>\n

\n Tipi’s at Bertie’s Barn, in Keswick, near Norwich, was set up by Spencer and Lea Hood as a seasonal events space on a 1.2-acre plot in 2022.\n<\/p>\n

\n It currently operates under a\u00a0temporary events licence that\u00a0states the tents can only be assembled for 28 days a year.\n<\/p>\n

\n The Hoods are now applying to retain the space throughout the summer season without having to take down the tents, as well as keeping its 40-space car park open during the three months.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
