An historic hotel in the heart of Somerset has been sold for an undisclosed amount.<\/p>\n

Hornsbury Mill, in Eleighwater, was a nineteenth-century corn mill which has been converted into a four-star hotel and wedding venue.<\/p>\n

The hotel\u2019s owners, who have not been named, decided to sell the building to focus on other pursuits.<\/p>\n

The owners had run the business for the 17 years, over which time they extensively refurbished the property.<\/p>\n

The venue\u2019s new operators will continue to run the business as a going concern.<\/p>\n

Specialist property adviser Christie & Co \u00a0completed the sale.<\/p>\n

Set across four acres, Hornsbury Mill is close to the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.<\/p>\n

The hotel has 10 ensuite rooms, a bridal suite, landscaped gardens with a lake, and outbuildings.<\/p>\n

Sam Roberts, hotel broker at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, said: \u201cWe are delighted to have secured a buyer for this delightful hotel and wedding venue in Somerset.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe business generated a lot of interest during its marketing campaign and found its buyer relatively quickly. We wish the new owners continued success and thank the outgoing owners for entrusting Christie & Co in handling the sale of their long-term business.\u201d<\/p>\n
