Shoppers in Kettering will soon be able to have their groceries delivered to their door from Central England Co-operative after it extended its partnership with the delivery app Just Eat to more of its stores.<\/p>\n

The move comes after an explosion in demand following the initial rollout of the scheme across 10 stores in February. Occupation Road in Corby was among the initial trial stores.<\/p>\n

This second stage will see a rollout of the partnership to 20 more stores across central England, including the Hallwood Road store in Kettering.<\/p>\n

Co-operative Shoppers can choose from more than 2,000 items using the Just Eat app which are then picked and packed at the nearby store by local colleagues before being delivered to them via Just Eat\u2019s network of delivery drivers. The partnership between the store chain and delivery app came about as demand for on-demand grocery deliveries rose in the UK. <\/p>\n

Just Eat Takeaway.com\u2019s also wants to expand and build its extensive existing delivery network, including convenience grocery operations.<\/p>\n
