All Elizabeths can enjoy free afternoon tea to celebrate Jubilee
If your name is Elizabeth, then you’re in luck.
To mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, boutique hotel The Lawrence in Padiham, is offering a free afternoon tea to anyone with that name. The ultimate treat, which is worth £19.95, includes sausage rolls and a selection of sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, triple chocolate brownies, strawberries and cream and Victoria sponge. Finished off with unlimited tea and coffee.
Complimentary teas will be available to all Elizabeths on Thursday, June 2 or Friday, June 3 but they must provide a valid picture ID. The Lawrence is a wedding venue, hotel and restaurant and is also dog-friendly, with its own resident pup, Hetty.
